Sayyid Al-Hakeem Praises Mosul University, Calls to Strengthen Universities Role to Support Stability, Development
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office the President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi. The meeting addressed the University of Mosul's success story in rebuilding what terrorism had destroyed, as well as the academic landscape in Ninawa Governorate.
H.E. praised the University of Mosul as a distinguished academic institution with a rich history of contribution and pioneering achievement in scientific research and the graduation of competent professionals, commending the reconstruction campaigns undertaken across the university's colleges and its public library.
H.E. affirmed that stability in Ninawa reflects positively on Iraq as a whole, calling for greater attention to the needs of faculty members and the provision of adequate housing for them.
H.E. also called for strengthening communication between universities and local governments to address challenges through a scientific and realistic vision.
