Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets German Ambassador, Affirms Economic Partnerships Importance, Support for Competencies Government, Dialogue for Regional Stability
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received at his office His Excellency the German Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Daniel Krieber, during which the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Berlin.
H.E. affirmed the importance of a German corporate presence in Iraq, given the practical expertise and standing such companies command among the Iraqi public, pointing to the need to strengthen these relations and advance them toward sustainable partnerships across various productive sectors.
H.E. addressed the nature of the political landscape in Iraq and the region, affirming that Iraq has moved beyond the phase of political deadlock and is approaching the formation of its new government, and stressed the necessity of empowering competent individuals of unblemished records and accumulated experience to assume office.
H.E. called for a permanent halt to the war on the Islamic Republic of Iran and a turn toward negotiation, emphasizing dialogue as the methodology for resolving outstanding issues and affirming that escalation serves no one's interests and will only complicate the situation further and diminish prospects for restoring stability.
