Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Al-Maliki: Coordination Framework Unity Guarantees Continued Stability, National Decision-Making
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received Mr. Nouri Al-Maliki, Head of the State of Law Coalition, where the meeting discussed upcoming entitlements.
The two sides renewed their support for the tracks of confining weapons to the hands of the state through understanding and dialogue, while commending the role of the factions in defending Iraq and confronting terrorism.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem also renewed his support for the anti-corruption campaign, calling for its continuation, targeting major files, and recovering public funds, and affirming the need to adopt automation in government to cut off avenues for those who steal public funds.
The meeting also affirmed the importance of the Coordination Framework's cohesion and unity, and H.E. commended all the efforts made to preserve stability and contribute to national decision-making, while the two sides called for completing the government cabinet and selecting figures characterized by competence, integrity, and good management.
